ITS APRIL!! It means soon I will go back to Indonesia! Should I be happy or sad? I love Bangkok, really-really falling in love with this city (not the people!, not all i mean. okay?).

Today I just went out with my colleague (my boss actually) we talked a lot, about anything! When I told her about my dream that I want to have my own restaurant and be a celebrity chef, she told me this; "when you become a celebrity chef, its not the end, its the start of your life, and this what you are doing now, its not the start". This woman is amazing! Even sometimes I pissed with her, she really trains me well.

 it's been a long time! i just really-really have no time to take a photo and also the one who always help me to take a picture already went back to Jakarta and i left alone here in Bangkok. but finally! The 'IT BOYS' from Jakarta come and we have so fun time together, and i really miss to talk in bahasa too! glad they come! even tho we only can have 2 days together because i need to come back to the hell's kitchen (duh!) see you in my next post!

Here's To Never Growing Up // Best Of the Both World

Sawasdee! Finally! got time to write a blog! even i do this in the middle of night where my eyes are half close after long day at work. for some people that don't know what am i doing for life, you might need to keep scrolling down, because i gonna share some picture of me doing something that i really like that is farfar away from fashion world.

and, you know what is hard for me? i work in the Kitchen, i have to work when you guys have holiday! i have to work when you guys can have a party in the weekend or shopping with friend. i have no time to go shop, or just window shopping. and when i have my off day, my body just not in the mood to go out, so i just go to the nearest coffee shop (the best coffee shop that i ever been!) from my apartment to read my fave books or just sleep all day.
fashion and culinary, same in art, different life. it is not easy to maintain life with a lots of thing happening around, in totally different world.

That feeling when you want to see a new people everyday but endup seeing the same people but with different personality everyday? it sucks! and all you do is shut up, smile and be patient. sometimes i want to be angry, i want shout at them and i feel like i don't belong here anymore. But, i always remember someone said to me "this is what you choose, this is your dream, if you back off and give up you can no longer catch up." so, this is what i do, smile, keep shut-ing my mouth, do what ever i need to do and keep going, because in the end of every dark tunnel there is a light.

and by the way i got this dungaree from some secondhand market in Bangkok that i forgot the name, bcs it is not a tourist kind of place. and it is really cheap!

all of sudden i turn into a "good" blogger. haha i even upload a post once a week! Bangkok really treat me well i guess! and this simple outfit i wore to go for a movie date with my bro! we go to Siam Paragon and i just shocked bcs the cinema have their own counter for the foreigner! can you imagine that? we don't have to wait at the super duper long queue! and do i told you about the cinema here? before we watch the movie, they will be playing a song to respect the King of Thailand and we must stand up until the end of the song. such a unique country!.

and welcome September in view hours! i always love September!

Mafia!

 when god gives you lemon, make a lemonade! life here is way far from word easy. but i'm keep trying to catch up. lack of sleep, pale face everyday, eyebag, always got cut almost everyday by a knife or a prawn (yes! prawn! you read it right).
lemonade also need a sugar right? yep, my sugar is my new friends here, Andy and Sari, we share every shits at work, laugh like a crazy people and in the end always say "Indonesian..." and laugh again. we eat a LOT! we even share our drinks. am gonna miss this crazy people when they are going back to Indonesia 6 month earlier than me. i don't know what will happen to me when they going back. hope i will survive by my own.

Hai! i'm here! in Bangkok! this city is just as unique as the people.
and i really love my job here, even tho sometimes i miss my social life back in Jakarta, i realize that i choose my own path and i choose to have this kind of life, that i spend my day in the kitchen and sleep. its really tiring but its fun to make good food.
okay, this is the story of Bangkok, i get shoo by the taxi driver because he can't speak english and i can't speak thai. the 'ojek' here is such a bitch, they know im foreigner and the ask for a lot of money. i'm angry with the provider operator because they don't understand what i say and what i want. enough for the bad things, and here's the good things, in Bangkok they have Metro (subway) and BTS (skytrain) that really clean and organized (better than singapore, fyi), some of the people are really kind!, and i work in the kitchen of Bangkok best restaurant (Vertigo, Banyan Tree Hotel) and the malls?? AMAZING! the food INCREDIBLE! and the best part is, what ever you are wearing, people won't stare at you like Indonesia people did. hahahaha

and the photo i take is  in 4 different places. hahaha.
